Rainbow Bridge Montessori School is owned and operated by Juli and Chris Inman, residents of Sonoma County since 1968. Juli and Chris both graduated from Sonoma State University. Chris received his B.A. in Philosophy in 1972 and Juli received her B.A. in Psychology in 1975.

Juli Inman

Juli Inman has been teaching preschool since 1974. She received her Association Montessori Internationale Certificate in 1978 for ages 2 to 6 years old. Juli has worked as a teacher and administrator at the present school site since 1978. In 1980 Chris and Juli purchased the business. The property was purchased in 1981.

Chris Inman

Chris Inman completed the carpentry apprenticeship program after college and worked 23 years in the trades; the 13 years of which he owned and operated a custom cabinet shop called Creative Woodworks. From 1995-1998 he attended the Elementary Montessori Institute of the Northwest in Oregon and received his Children on Playground Association Montessori Internationale Certificate in 1998 for ages 6 to 12 years old. Chris received his Masters in Education in 2000. He worked at Brush Creek Montessori School in Santa Rosa, California for one year and then help open Quest Montessori School in Petaluma with Juli Inman where he taught for 3 years. Chris now homeschools their son, Josh, and has re-opened Creative Woodworks doing cabinetry and home repair.

Rainbow Bridge

Rainbow Bridge also takes pride in providing a beautiful environment both indoors and outside. The business received an award from the City of Cotati for Best Improved Property in 1985. Chris Inman maintains the school buildings and continues to expand and upgrade the landscaping.

Rainbow Bridge Montessori School is very well-known in the community and has an excellent reputation. Rainbow Bridge serves families from the Rohnert Park-Cotati area as well as Petaluma, Penngrove, Sebastopol, and Santa Rosa. There are two Primary classrooms for ages 3 to 6 years old, preschool and kindergarten, the second Primary classroom was built in 1985. The classroom for the Preparatory classroom for ages 2 to 3 years old was purchased in 1987. This classroom also serves as the Extended Daycare room.
